Bud Ecosystem and Intel Corporation have embarked on a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) across industries. The companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to integrate Bud Ecosystem’s GenAI software stack with Intel processors, enabling cost-effective GenAI deployment for enterprises.
Despite the transformative potential of GenAI, its enterprise adoption has been slow, primarily due to the high capital and operational costs associated with GPU-based solutions. This partnership seeks to address these challenges by integrating Bud Ecosystem’s innovative GenAI training and inference stack, GenAI models, and agents with Intel’s cost-efficient processors, paving the way for more accessible GenAI adoption across industries.
Bud Runtime, the GenAI serving and inference stack developed by Bud Ecosystem, is designed to deliver performance and accuracy comparable to GPU-based solutions while utilizing CPU architecture. This innovative approach significantly reduces capital and operational expenditures for enterprises adopting Generative AI. Joint benchmarking experiments reveal that the integrated solution of Bud Runtime on Intel processors can achieve a 12-fold increase in speed for GenAI applications on client devices, 130 percent better inference performance in the cloud, and reduce the total cost of ownership by up to 55%.

Jithin V.G., CEO of Bud Ecosystem, stated, “Our mission is to democratize access to GenAI by commoditizing it. Through our collaboration with Intel, we are combining Bud Runtime — our model inference engine — with Intel’s cost-effective hardware, enabling GSIs, OEMs, and enterprises to deploy high-performance GenAI solutions at a fraction of the cost. We are confident that this partnership will empower businesses worldwide to unlock the full potential of GenAI.”
This collaboration has the potential to revolutionize how enterprises adopt and scale GenAI, making it easier to implement on existing hardware infrastructure. It ensures the deployment of GenAI solutions at scale on existing infrastructure, which makes AI democratization a reality.
With this partnership, the companies aim to empower global system integrators, independent software vendors, cloud service providers, and original equipment manufacturers to accelerate the delivery of GenAI solutions worldwide. The MoU outlines plans for Intel and Bud Ecosystem to collaborate on revenue-sharing models to develop and promote cost-effective GenAI infrastructure.
To facilitate this integration, Intel will provide essential tools and training, enabling the development of additional capabilities specifically tailored for Intel architecture. Furthermore, the two companies will jointly create a go-to-market strategy to effectively promote these GenAI solutions to ecosystem partners and end customers. Together, they will empower enterprises to transition to production-ready GenAI solutions while adhering to critical AI guidelines and regulations established by the European Union and the White House’s responsible AI framework.
Additionally, Bud Ecosystem will assist in benchmarking and optimizing GenAI systems on Intel’s Xeon, MTL series, and Gaudi systems. The focus will be on creating optimized large language models and diffusion models for both client-side and data center applications. Bud Ecosystem will also engage in joint proof-of-concept initiatives with Intel and its customers to showcase the benefits of these integrated solutions.
Through this strategic alliance, Intel and Bud Ecosystem aim to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of GenAI solutions for enterprises, driving innovation and growth across various industries.
